Please plan on joining us for an interesting and beautiful hike from Lime Creek Road to Spud Lake.  We will enjoy terrific views of Engineer Mountain and Potato Mountain (AKA Spud Peak) along the trail.This will be about a 3.5 mile hike with about a 600 ft. incline.  It is rated easy.

 

There will be 10 or less people on the hike and we will practice social distancing on the trail and during any breaks. Masks are not required at this outdoor event as sufficient distancing is possible. Thank you for being mindful of your fellow members.

 

Up to 3 dogs will also be allowed on a leash or under voice control so please note if you plan to bring a dog. (There is 1 dog already coming on this hike) Please bring water, snacks and rain gear. 

 

We will gather at the base of Purgatory next to the highway just inside the entrance by 9:00AM.

We will then drive by carpool (if comfortable with that) to the Lime Creek Road near Cascade Creek and ascend to the trailhead together.  We do NOT need 4x4 vehicles, but the road is rocky and you will be happier with a high clearance vehicle.  

 

We hope that you will join us to enjoy some very special local scenery. We should be back at the trailhead by noon.
